Description
This lot consists of sixty rounds of .30-06 Springfield ammunition marketed under the Colt brand name. The collection comprises three factory boxes, with each individual box containing twenty cartridges. These rounds are loaded with 168-grain bimetal full metal jacket projectiles and utilize zinc-plated steel cases. Detailed inspection of the cartridge headstamps reveals they are marked verbatim with COLT at the top position, .30-06 Spring. along the lower curve, and the manufacturer code LVE at the base, which identifies production at the Novosibirsk Cartridge Plant. These cartridges feature brass-colored primers and copper-jacketed bullets, consistent with the Silver Bear production line manufactured for Colt.
Condition report:
The three original cardboard boxes exhibit minor shelf wear and edge scuffing consistent with storage. One box features a small white inventory sticker with the number 36604. The ammunition itself is in excellent condition, with the zinc-plated cases showing a clean silver-colored finish free of oxidation or corrosion. The primers are properly seated, and the projectiles appear bright and undamaged. All ammunition appears to be live and factory-loaded.
