Description
This lot consists of 56 rounds of handloaded 7mm International Rimmed (7mm INT-R) centerfire ammunition, a specialized wildcat caliber historically utilized for metallic silhouette competition. The collection is distributed across three cardboard boxes, comprising one Peters High Velocity box, one green Hi-Speed box, and one Remington box. These cartridges were reloaded using fireformed .30-30 Winchester brass, featuring a mix of headstamps including R-P 30-30 WIN, S & W 30-30 WIN, F C 30-30 WIN, W-W 30-30 WIN, and PMC 30-30 WIN. Handwritten data on adhesive tape provides specifics for the loads, indicating the use of IMR 4064 powder with jacketed soft-point bullets in weights of 120 and 139 grains. Prominent markings transcribed from the boxes and tape include Peters High Velocity Center Fire Cartridges Kleanbore Priming, Hi-Speed 20 Center Fire Cartridges, Remington, 7-R-INT, 20 Reloads, 7 Int-R, IMR 4064, 139gr. SP, 16 Reloads 3 Brass, 24gr., 120gr, and 23gr. Condition report:
The cardboard ammunition boxes exhibit typical shelf wear, surface scuffing, and minor corner fraying consistent with age. The cartridges appear to be in stable condition, featuring brass cases that show light surface tarnish and oxidation. Primers are seated firmly and are silver-colored, while the jacketed soft-point projectiles appear intact without significant damage. As these are manually reloaded cartridges, their internal condition, propellant stability, and pressure specifications have not been verified, and they should be considered for collection or salvage components only.
