Description
This RCBS two-die reloading set is chambered for the .416 Remington Magnum cartridge and is presented in its original green plastic storage case. The set consists of a full-length sizer die and a seating die, both constructed of steel with knurled upper sections and threaded bodies featuring black oxide locking rings. Key markings on the exterior label include RCBS F L DIE SET .416 REM MAG, P/N: 22701, Group D, and the instruction to Use Shell Holder #4. The lid of the case is molded with the RCBS Omark Industries logo. The set includes a printed RCBS Reloading Dies instruction manual and a small clear plastic accessory bag from the Sporting Equipment Division of Blount, Inc. based in Oroville, California. These dies feature standard 7/8-14 threading for compatibility with most single-stage and turret reloading presses.
Condition report:
The die set is in good used condition. The steel bodies exhibit minor surface wear and light traces of lubricant, with no significant rust or pitting observed. The knurling on the die tops remains sharp and defined. The green plastic storage case is structurally intact, although the lid shows a partially removed adhesive label and some light scuffs from storage. The instruction manual is complete with minor creasing. All interior components appear well-preserved and the locking rings function correctly.
