Description
This lot consists of 150 Winchester Super-X .22 Short blank cartridges loaded with black powder. These rimfire blanks are contained within three original silver-colored cardboard boxes featuring red and orange manufacturer graphics. The cartridges are constructed with brass cases and utilize fiber or paper wads to secure the black powder charge. Identifying markings on the packaging include the manufacturer name Winchester and the Super-X brand logo with a horse and rider illustration. The boxes are explicitly labeled 22 SHORT BLANK BLACK POWDER and display the UPC 0 20892 10068 8. Visible headstamps on the individual cartridges include the Winchester W mark and the text SUPER X. These blanks are intended for signaling or training purposes and contain no projectile.
Condition report:
The three original boxes show moderate shelf wear consistent with age and storage. Visible damage includes frayed edges, crushed corners, and surface abrasions. One box is open and shows some tearing to the inner flaps. Another box has a blue ink stain on the front panel, and a third shows a greenish residue on the upper surface. The brass-cased cartridges show minor surface oxidation and light handling marks but appear structurally sound. The wad seals are present and intact across the visible specimens. This ammunition has not been function-tested.
