Description
This is a Ruger M77 Hawkeye bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, specifically designed in a left-handed configuration. The rifle features a polished blued steel barrel and receiver, while the bolt and bolt handle exhibit a matte finish. Key markings include the model designation RUGER M77 HAWKEYE and the serial number 712-10261 on the receiver. Barrel markings specify 30-06 SPRG and RUGER, NEWPORT, NH U.S.A. The firearm is fitted with a checkered American walnut stock featuring a black grip cap and a red rubber recoil pad, both of which are embossed with the Ruger logo. An engraved Ruger logo is also present on the hinged floorplate. Mounted to the receiver’s integral bases is a Leupold American Marksman 3-9x40mm scope with a duplex reticle featuring holdover points, complete with rubber-banded lens covers. The rifle is equipped with front and rear sling swivel studs. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good to excellent condition. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver is deep and consistent with only a few negligible handling marks. The wood stock remains in excellent condition with crisp checkering and very few superficial dings. The matte finish on the bolt and handle shows minor operational wear. The red rubber recoil pad remains supple. The optic glass appears clear and the body shows no significant wear. While the bore was not directly inspected, the overall external condition indicates a well-maintained firearm.
