Description
This Thompson/Center Encore is a break-action, single-shot pistol chambered in .223 Remington and features a 15-inch blued barrel. Designed for long-range handgun hunting and target shooting, the firearm is equipped with a smooth wood forend and a contoured wood pistol grip that includes ergonomic finger grooves and an embossed T/C logo on the grip cap. The sighting system consists of a ramped front sight and a Thompson/Center branded adjustable rear sight. The metal surfaces of the barrel and receiver exhibit a high-polish blued finish. Markings on the left side of the barrel include the ENCORE logo followed by THOMPSON / CENTER ARMS ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE 223 Rem. The rear tang of the receiver, located behind the hammer, is stamped with the serial number 56726. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm appears to be in good overall condition. The blued finish is well-preserved with only minor surface scuffs and light handling marks primarily along the length of the barrel. The wood furniture is solid and well-fitted, showing some scattered shallow dings and light scratches consistent with moderate use. The bore is bright with sharp, distinct rifling. The break-action mechanism appears to function correctly with a tight lock-up and a crisp trigger pull, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
