Description
This Sheridan Blue Streak is a multi-pump pneumatic air rifle chambered in 5mm (.20 caliber). It utilizes a bolt-action breech-loading mechanism and is intended for target shooting and small game hunting. The rifle features a blued finish on the barrel, pump tube, and receiver. The stock is a two-piece walnut assembly with a straight-grip buttstock and a separate pump forearm. It is equipped with a fixed front blade sight and a screw-adjustable rear open sight. Prominent markings include the left side of the receiver which is stamped SHERIDAN PRODUCTS INC. RACINE, WIS. — MADE IN U.S.A. and the serial number 675838. The top of the receiver is marked BLUE STREAK 5m/m CAL. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the metal components is in good condition, showing typical thinning and light scratching from handling, particularly along the pump tube and receiver edges. The walnut furniture exhibits various dings, surface scratches, and minor finish loss but remains solid with no evident cracks. The bolt action and trigger mechanism appear to function mechanically, though the pneumatic pump system has not been function-tested for pressure retention. The bore was not inspected.
