Description
This lot consists of a total of 177 rounds of .32 Automatic (ACP) ammunition housed in four vintage factory boxes. The collection includes two Peters Rustless yellow and blue boxes and two Remington Kleanbore green boxes. Both the Peters and Remington packaging indicates the contents are 71 grain metal case bullets and 50 center fire smokeless cartridges. The Remington boxes display the DuPont logo and the product code 2632. Visual inspection of the cartridge headstamps reveals a variety of manufacturers, including markings transcribed as Peters 32 Auto, Peters 32 ACP, REM-UMC 32 Auto, R-P 32 Auto, and a single cartridge marked W-W 32 Auto. The ammunition features round-nose copper-jacketed bullets and brass cases. One Remington box includes tissue packing to secure the partial contents.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show age-related wear, including shelf wear, edge fraying, and splitting at the corner seams. The ammunition appears to be live with unspent primers. The brass cases exhibit light tarnish and a natural patina consistent with age, with similar tarnish observed on several of the copper-jacketed bullets.
