Description
This lot features a Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Pro Series semi-automatic striker-fired pistol chambered in 9mm. The firearm is built on a black polymer frame with a matte black finished stainless steel slide and a 4.25 inch barrel. Key markings include the model designation M&P 9 PRO SERIES on the left side of the slide and SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. on the right side. The barrel hood is marked 9MM and the frame is fitted with a serial number plate marked HSL2856. The pistol features several custom aesthetic modifications, most notably multi-colored paint highlights in the front and rear slide serrations, a custom Gadsden Don’t Tread On Me snake logo backplate, and colored Military & Police medallions inset into the grip. The firearm is equipped with a green fiber optic front sight and a black target-style rear sight. Included with the pistol are three 17-round magazines featuring custom baseplates: one with a Gadsden flag motif, one with an American flag and VETERAN text, and one standard factory logo plate. The lot is completed by a black Browning-branded soft side carrying case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good used condition. The matte black finish on the slide shows typical holster wear and thinning at the muzzle and high edges. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though it has not been live-fire tested. The polymer frame and textured grips are well-preserved with minor handling marks. The aftermarket paint in the slide serrations and on the grip medallions shows some light chipping and uneven application. The three magazines are functional with clear witness holes and intact springs.
