Description
This collection includes multiple western riding spurs of varying designs with associated black leather straps. One pair features silver-toned metal heel bands with a twisted rope design, straight shanks, and ten-point star rowels. These are attached to simple black leather straps with brass-toned studs. A second pair is made of darkened steel with stamped chevron patterns on the bands and necks, ending in eight-point star rowels. This pair includes wide, tooled black leather straps with stamped circular patterns and brass-toned studs. A metal connector piece on one of the leather straps is stamped with CHINA.
Condition report:
The items show evidence of use and age. Metal components exhibit varying degrees of surface oxidation, rust, and pitting. The leather straps display wear, creasing, and minor cracking at the attachment points.
