Description
This cased pair of RCBS reloading dies is designed for the production of .270 Winchester ammunition. The set includes one full-length sizer die and one seater die, both of which are precision-machined from steel with knurled surfaces for ease of adjustment. The dies are compatible with standard 7/8-14 thread reloading presses. Verbatim markings on the components include 270 W C F SEATER on one die and 270 W C F SIZER on the second die, with the manufacturer and caliber designation stamped into the central rings. The set is contained within a green plastic storage case embossed with the RCBS and Omark Industries logos. The sizer die includes an internal decapping and expanding assembly, while the seater die features an adjustable seating plug. These dies are essential tools for handloading .270 caliber rifle cartridges to specific tolerances.
Condition report:
Both dies exhibit significant surface oxidation and light rust, which is particularly visible on the knurled gripping surfaces, the upper threads of the sizer die, and the lock rings. The interior bores of the dies appear relatively clean and free of heavy debris, though we have not function-tested them for dimensional accuracy. The green plastic storage case shows visible scuffing, minor staining, and age-related wear, but remains structurally sound. The decapping pin appears intact, and all threaded components rotate freely.
