Description

A trio of vintage brown cowhide leather revolver holsters. This assortment includes three distinct patterns likely intended for Spanish-made or commercial service revolvers of the early to mid-20th century. The first is a compact model with a fold-over top flap and a single brass stud closure. The second is a medium-sized holster featuring a fold-over flap and a decorative stamped circular eyelet border. The third is a large open-top holster with an extensively stamped zig-zag border and a floral motif at the junction of the trigger guard. All three holsters are constructed from heavy-gauge leather with period saddle-stitching. Such equipment was frequently utilized by European forces as substitute standard gear during the mid-20th century. Visible markings on the reverse belt loops include 1309C 6 1/2 on the top holster, 120 over 36 on the middle holster, and 44 over illegible digits on the bottom holster.

Condition report:

The items are in service-worn condition. The leather displays a dark, developed patina with varying degrees of surface scuffing, discoloration, and age-related wear. The largest holster exhibits significant surface crazing and drying to the leather. Brass hardware shows a natural aged patina. Stitching remains largely intact across the group.
