Description
This is a Walther GSP semi-automatic target pistol chambered for the .22 l.r. cartridge, designed for competitive match shooting. The firearm features a 4.5 inch barrel assembly with a matte black finish that matches the frame. It is equipped with an ergonomic walnut target grip featuring a stippled texture and an adjustable palm shelf. The sighting system consists of an adjustable rear target sight and a fixed front blade with a red insert. Key markings include the Walther banner logo and GSP cal. .22 lr on the left side of the barrel assembly, while the frame is marked Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. Made in W.-Germany. The left side of the frame also bears the serial number 85257, a German eagle over N nitro proof mark, the date code IB signifying 1981 manufacture, and the Ulm antler proof house symbol. This comprehensive lot includes a total of six magazines, the original OSP/GSP instruction manual (Bedienungsanleitung), a factory test target matching serial number 85257, a Walther-branded hard case, and a Fieldline soft carry bag. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte black finish is in very good condition, showing only minor handling marks and light edge wear consistent with target range use. The bore was not inspected, but the overall presentation of the firearm suggests it has been well-maintained. The walnut target grips are excellent, with sharp stippling and only slight thinning of the finish on the contact points. The action appears to function correctly; however, this firearm has not been function-tested. All included magazines, the test target, and the factory case are in good, serviceable condition.
