A Lot of 50 Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Company .32 S&W Ammunition
Sold for: $50
Description
A lot of 50 cartridges of .32 S&W central fire ammunition manufactured by the Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut. These vintage cartridges feature 88-grain lead bullets and are housed in an original two-piece green cardboard box with a top label bearing a red circular Remington UMC logo. The label states that the cartridges are made according to the specific directions of Smith and Wesson and are specially adapted for .32 Smith and Wesson and other arms. Verbatim markings on the cartridge headstamps are transcribed as REM-UMC .32 S&W. The box contains 50 cartridges in total, featuring brass cases and exposed lead projectiles. We have not function-tested this ammunition. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The two-piece cardboard box shows significant age-related wear, including surface staining, paper loss along the edges, and splits to the lid. The ammunition exhibits a dark patina on the brass cases and white oxidation on the lead bullets. The cartridges appear live and are intended for display or collection.
