Description
This lot consists of a group of 950 rounds of 9mm Carbine centerfire ammunition manufactured by Israel Military Industries (IMI) Ltd. under the UZI brand. The cartridges are loaded with 115 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectiles and utilize reloadable brass casings. Key markings on the master white cardboard carton include the UZI and I.M.I. logos with the text CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES SMALL ARMS AMMUNITION MFD. BY ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES LTD. printed in blue. Each individual 50 round box is marked UZI 9mm CARBINE (9mm x 19) 115 GR. F.M.J. alongside a bullseye graphic. The cartridge headstamps are transcribed verbatim as I M I, 9mm, and CARB. The primers are sealed with a distinctive dark blue or purple lacquer to improve moisture resistance and reliability. This ammunition was specifically designed for carbine use, such as the UZI submachine gun, but is compatible with any modern firearm chambered for 9x19mm Luger.
