Description
This Colt Junior is a semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in .25 caliber and equipped with a 2.25 inch barrel. The pistol features an external hammer, fixed sights integrated into the slide, and a manual safety lever on the left side of the frame. The blued steel construction is paired with two-piece checkered wood grip panels featuring silver-toned Colt medallions. Marking transcription includes the left side of the slide reading COLTS PT. F.A. MFG. CO. above HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. accompanied by the rampant colt logo. The right side of the slide displays a rampant colt logo followed by COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBER .25. The frame is stamped with the serial number OD 96355 on the right side above the trigger guard. The pistol is supplied with one nickel-plated magazine marked CAL .25 / COLT on the base. A prominent vertical crack is present on the left grip panel. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in fair to good condition. The blued finish exhibits widespread thinning and surface wear, especially on the high edges of the slide and frame, where a light brown patina is visible. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The action cycles properly and the trigger resets. The wood grips show moderate wear to the checkering, with a notable vertical crack extending through the left panel. The magazine shows light surface spotting and finish loss.
