Description
A Leupold Century Limited Edition commemorative set produced in 2007 to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary (1907-2007). The centerpiece of the set is a Golden Ring 3-9x40mm hunting scope featuring a high-gloss black finish. Characters on the objective bell read CENTURY LIMITED EDITION 3-9x40mm. The turret housing is marked with a gold-tone anniversary logo containing the letter L and the words 100 YEARS, 1907, 2007, and LEUPOLD. The underside of the turret housing is marked with the serial number MMVII – 12524. The scope is designed with capped adjustment turrets and a knurled magnification adjustment ring. Included in the set is a CRKT fixed-blade commemorative knife with burl wood handle scales and mosaic pins. One side of the blade is etched with the Leupold 100-year logo while the reverse side is marked with the CRKT logo and China. The set is housed in its original red and black lithographed presentation tin and is accompanied by a brown leather sheath with an embossed L logo, a bronze-tone commemorative medallion, and a Leupold Riflescope Owner’s Handbook.
Condition report:
The scope appears to be in excellent condition with clear optics and a bright high-gloss finish showing minimal signs of handling. The adjustment turrets and magnification ring function smoothly. The commemorative knife and leather sheath are in excellent, seemingly unused condition. The bronze medallion and owner\'s handbook are well-preserved. The original presentation tin shows some minor shelf wear and light scratches consistent with age but remains in good overall condition.
