Description
This lot features a collection of 35 ammunition items chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum, consisting of 32 live rounds and 3 empty brass casings. The items are housed in two original Remington cardboard boxes, one a High Velocity 20 Centerfire Cartridges box and the other an Express Core-Lokt Rifle Cartridges box. Both boxes are designated for 180 grain Core-Lokt Pointed Soft Point bullets. Verbatim markings on the packaging include Remington, 300 Weatherby Mag, 180 Gr. Core-Lokt PTD Soft PT, and R300WB1. The collection features mixed manufacture headstamps, with visible markings including R-P 300 Weatherby Mag, Weatherby 300 Magnum, Hornady 300 WBY MAG, and Weatherby 300 WBY MAG. The cartridges utilize brass belted magnum cases and copper-jacketed projectiles. Many of the primers exhibit a distinct green factory sealant.
Condition report:
The ammunition and casings are in good overall condition. The brass cases show varying degrees of surface tarnish and light oxidation consistent with age. The copper-jacketed bullets appear well-seated without significant corrosion. Several primers retain their green sealant. The two cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear, including frayed corners, scuffed edges, and a partial adhesive label on the High Velocity box. This lot is sold as a collector\'s item and the ammunition has not been test-fired.
