Description
This single-action revolver was manufactured by F.lli Pietta in Italy and imported by Cimarron Firearms Co., chambering the .357 Magnum cartridge. The firearm features a 3.5-inch blued barrel with an integrated under-barrel ejector rod and a matching six-shot fluted cylinder. The steel frame and hammer exhibit a vibrant color case-hardened finish with mottled ambers and blues. It is equipped with one-piece smooth wood grips displaying a reddish-brown satin finish. Sights consist of a fixed front blade and a notch integrated into the top strap. Key markings include FRONTIER .357 MAGNUM on the left side of the barrel and CIMARRON FIREARMS Co. FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS on the top. The underside of the frame is stamped with a square CH proof mark and the serial number E23533. The revolver is accompanied by its original factory cardboard box, which features a matching serial number and identifies the model as FRONTIER 3.5 357 PW, alongside an owner’s notice and a safety booklet. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm appears to be in excellent, potentially unfired condition. The blued finish on the barrel and cylinder remains at approximately 99%, showing no significant wear or thinning. The color case-hardening on the frame is vibrant and well-preserved. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly with positive clicks and a solid lockup, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The smooth wood grips are in excellent condition with no visible dings or scratches. The original box and documentation are well-preserved with only minor storage wear.
