Description
This lot features a partial box of Remington brand centerfire ammunition in .357 Remington Maximum caliber. The cartridges are loaded with 158-grain semi-jacketed hollow point bullets, designed for handgun hunting and target applications. The vintage green and yellow packaging retains clear factory markings, including the Remington logo and High Velocity branding on the top panel. The end flaps are marked 357 Rem. MAX. 158 GR. SEMI-JKTD. HOLLOW PT. and the side panel specifies the rounds are designed for greater shocking power and improved handgun efficiency. While the factory printing indicates an original capacity of 20 centerfire cartridges, this lot contains exactly 8 rounds. Handwritten notations on the box include 8 RDS in black marker on the side and inventory numbers in pencil reading # 5-021/6 and # 5-0296 on the top.
Condition report:
The vintage cardboard box shows moderate shelf wear, including scuffing, edge fraying, and some surface soiling consistent with age and storage. The entire box is currently protected by a clear plastic shrink-wrap. The ammunition cases appear clean and bright where visible through the packaging, and the rounds appear to be live and in good collectible condition.
