Description
This lot features a Ruger Red Label over-under shotgun chambered for 12 gauge shells with 2 3/4-inch chambers. The firearm is equipped with 26-inch blued barrels featuring a ventilated top rib and a brass bead front sight. The receiver is constructed of brushed stainless steel. The furniture consists of a checkered walnut stock and matching forend, with the grip cap bearing the Ruger logo. The butt is finished with a factory red Ruger-branded recoil pad. Key markings include the manufacturer and location on the underside of the receiver transcribed as STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. The barrel assembly is marked 12 GA. 2 3/4″ CHAMBERS and specifies the fixed chokes as MOD. and IMP. CYL. The firearm is accompanied by its original factory cardboard box, which bears the model designation KRL-1230 and the serial number 400-10802. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in excellent condition, appearing near new with very little evidence of use. The blued finish on the barrels remains deep and consistent with no notable thinning or scratches. The brushed stainless steel receiver is clean with no significant handling marks. The checkered walnut stock and forend are in excellent condition with sharp checkering and a smooth finish. The bores appear bright and clean, and the action appears to function correctly. The original factory box shows some shelf wear, minor tearing, and handwritten notations on the end label but remains structurally sound.
