Description
This lot consists of a pair of privately minted silver bullion rounds featuring an obverse design modeled after the United States Peace Dollar. The obverse displays a profile of Liberty wearing a radiate crown, inscribed with the word LIBERTY and the date 1985. The reverse of each round depicts a balance scale and is inscribed with ONE TROY OUNCE, .999 FINE SILVER, and SILVER TRADE UNIT. These rounds were produced by a private refiner as investment-grade bullion and do not carry a government mint mark. Both rounds are clearly marked for weight and purity.

Condition report:
The rounds exhibit significant surface toning and discoloration. A heavy orange-hued or copper-colored patina is visible along the reeded edges of both pieces. Darker tarnish and evidence of handling are present in the fields and on the raised relief of both the obverse and reverse surfaces.
