Description
This lot comprises a total of 60 rounds of .35 Remington caliber centerfire rifle ammunition, featuring three distinct vintage 20-round boxes from major American manufacturers. Included is one green box of Remington High Velocity ammunition containing 200-grain Core-Lokt soft point bullets, catalog number R35R2, with brass headstamped R-P 35 REM. The second box is a white Western Super-X container holding 200-grain Silvertip expanding bullets, catalog number 35R3, with headstamps marked W-W SUPER 35 REM. The final box is a blue and red Peters High Velocity package containing 200-grain Inner-Belted soft point bullets, catalog number 3580, featuring brass headstamped PETERS 35 REM. The cartridges are organized in their respective cardboard or plastic internal trays, providing a classic collection of hunting loads for this celebrated caliber.
Condition report:
The vintage cardboard packaging exhibits moderate shelf wear consistent with age, including edge scuffing, corner fraying, and light surface soiling. The Remington box includes a handwritten date of 11/98 and a price sticker from Juniata Trading, while the Peters box shows minor surface paper loss on the end flap. The brass cartridge cases show varying degrees of natural tarnish and light surface oxidation but remain structurally sound. The projectiles are securely seated, with minor oxidation visible on some lead tips. The ammunition appears to be original factory-loaded live rounds.
