1958 Hubley Colt .45 Cap Gun in Original Box

Description
Hubley Colt .45 repeating cap pistol. The piece is constructed of die-cast metal with a silver-tone finish and a gold-tone cylinder. It features ivory-colored plastic grips and comes with six two-piece metal and plastic cartridges. The frame above the trigger guard is embossed with COLT .45 and the rampant colt logo. The barrel and frame are decorated with ornate scrollwork engraving. The toy is housed in its original cardboard display box with a red flocked interior tray. The reverse of the box contains detailed operating instructions and diagrams for loading single shots or removing the cylinder to load re-capped cartridges. The box edge carries the copyright notice COPYRIGHT 1958 BY COLT PATENT FIREARMS MFG. CO., INC. and the back lists the manufacturer as THE HUBLEY MANUFACTURING COMPANY, LANCASTER, PA., U. S. A. A small white inventory sticker with the numbers 36604 is present on the reverse.
Condition report:
The item is in Mint-in-Box (MIB) condition, remaining sealed in its original factory shrink-wrap. The shrink-wrap shows typical age-related yellowing and minor shelf wear but remains intact. The underlying cardboard box appears to have very minor corner wear. The toy and accessories appear untouched and in original factory condition.
