Description
This is a Smith & Wesson Model 19-4 double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, a classic firearm built on the medium K-frame. The revolver features a 4-inch barrel with a blued steel finish and is equipped with a fixed front ramp sight and a micro-adjustable rear sight. The furniture consists of aftermarket black rubber Hogue Monogrip finger-groove grips with a pebbled texture for enhanced control. Key markings include the manufacturer name SMITH & WESSON on the left side of the barrel and S.&W. 357 MAGNUM on the right side. The right side of the frame displays the manufacturer trademark logo and the four-line Marcas Registradas address. When the cylinder is open, the yoke is stamped with the serial number 65K4930 and the model designation MOD. 19-4. The six-shot cylinder features recessed chambers, and the barrel is pinned to the frame. The hammer and trigger retain a faded color case-hardened finish. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in good used condition with visible signs of handling. The blued finish remains largely intact but shows a pronounced cylinder turn line and thinning at the muzzle and on the high edges of the frame. There are scattered surface scratches and minor scuffs present on the frame and cylinder. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, and the cylinder chambers are clean. The Hogue rubber grips are in very good condition with no tears or significant wear. The action cycles smoothly in both single and double-action modes with positive cylinder lockup.
