Description
This custom rifle barrel is manufactured by Virgin Valley Custom Guns for use with the Thompson/Center Contender break-action system. Chambered in the high-velocity .20 BR Express wildcat caliber, the barrel features a blued finish and a tapered profile. The assembly includes a matching black Talley scope mount base with integral rings. The barrel’s left side is prominently marked with the Virgin Valley diamond logo followed by Custom Guns, and the caliber 20 BR Express is engraved near the breech. The under-barrel lug exhibits a welded configuration typical of custom shop production and shows some minor wear consistent with installation and use. This lot includes the barrel and scope mount only; the receiver, stock, and forend are not present. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The overall condition is very good, with the blued finish showing only light surface scratches and minor thinning at the high points. The under-barrel lug shows some expected finish loss and light surface oxidation around the weld areas. The bore is excellent, displaying bright surfaces and well-defined rifling throughout. The Talley scope mount and rings are securely attached with clean hardware. We have not function-tested this barrel on a receiver.
