Description
This lot consists of 73 rounds of vintage Dominion brand centerfire rifle ammunition, produced by Canadian Industries Limited (C-I-L). The cartridges are chambered in 6.5mm Mannlicher-Schoenauer and are loaded with 160-grain soft point (SP) bullets. The lot includes four original yellow and blue cardboard boxes, which are labeled 6.5 mm MANN.-SCHOEN. and feature the Dominion trademark along with the Super-Clean and Oilproof Primers slogans. The cartridges are brass-cased with gold-toned primers featuring a red sealant. Verbatim headstamps are marked DOMINION 6.5 MM. Two boxes retain white inventory stickers labeled 13052. This ammunition is intended for use in rifles chambered for the 6.5x54mm Mannlicher-Schoenauer cartridge.
Condition report:
The four cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, including fraying at the edges, minor soiling, and small tears. The cartridges generally appear well-preserved, though some brass cases show surface oxidation, tarnish, and discoloration consistent with age and storage. Primers and bullets appear to be intact and properly seated. As vintage ammunition, this lot is sold as a collectible item and has not been tested for functionality or safety.
