Condition report:
The exterior metal surfaces retain a high degree of their original blued finish with only minor thinning at the muzzle and a few light handling marks. The bore is bright with sharp and well-defined rifling. The bolt action appears to function smoothly and correctly, although the rifle has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The checkered walnut stock is in good overall condition, showing some scattered dings and light scratches from field use, while the checkering remains sharp. The Nikon scope displays some minor finish wear on the objective bell and tube, but the optics are clear and the reticle is intact.
