Sold for: $130
Description
This lot features a collection of four boxes of Remington Premier Ultra Mag centerfire rifle ammunition chambered in .375 Remington Ultra Mag. The assortment includes 65 live rounds and 15 empty brass casings. The grouping consists of one box of 270 grain Hornady Soft Point ammunition (Product Code: PR375UM2) and three boxes of 300 grain Swift A-Frame Pointed Soft Point ammunition (Product Code: PR375UM3). Technical specifications include brass casings and copper-jacketed projectiles. Markings on the factory packaging include the manufacturer Remington and the caliber designation .375 Remington Ultra Mag. The cartridge headstamps are transcribed verbatim as R-P and 375 REM ULTRA MAG, identifying manufacture by Remington-Peters. These heavy-game cartridges are presented in their original factory green and yellow cardboard packaging.
Condition report:
The ammunition boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, including surface scuffing, edge fraying, and minor tears on the end flaps. The brass casings and copper-jacketed projectiles show varying degrees of surface oxidation and verdigris, particularly concentrated around the case necks and bullet seating. The 15 empty brass casings show evidence of having been fired and may require cleaning for reloading purposes, while the 65 live rounds appear stable. We have not function-tested this ammunition.
