Description

This is a bolt action rifle chambered for the .223 Winchester Super Short Magnum (WSSM) cartridge, manufactured by Miroku in Japan for Browning. The rifle is configured with a blued barrel and a receiver featuring decorative scrollwork engraving on both sides, with the model designation MEDALLION inscribed on the left side. The furniture consists of a high gloss finished walnut stock with checkered panels on the pistol grip and forend, complemented by a dark wood forend tip. Key markings include PAT. 4723369 A-BOLT CAL. .223 WSSM ONLY on the left side of the barrel, and BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH over MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU on the right side. The serial number 11202MW351 is clearly stamped on the right side of the receiver. This rifle is equipped with a gold plated trigger, a detachable box magazine, and two piece scope bases already installed on the receiver. The buttstock is finished with a black rubber recoil pad marked Browning Co. and includes factory sling swivel studs. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The metal surfaces retain a high percentage of their original blued finish, showing only minor handling marks and faint wear on the bolt handle and receiver edges. The walnut stock is in good overall condition but exhibits several visible scratches and dings, primarily on the left side of the buttstock and the underside of the forend. The checkering remains sharp and clean. While the bore has not been internally inspected, the exterior condition suggests the firearm has been well maintained. The bolt action appears to function smoothly and correctly, and the gold plating on the trigger remains vibrant with no significant wear.
