Description
This Smith & Wesson Model 460XVR Performance Center is a large-frame double action revolver chambered in .460 S&W Magnum, specifically configured for long-range hunting. It features a 14 inch fluted stainless steel barrel equipped with a prominent three-port muzzle brake. The revolver is constructed with a stainless steel finish and features a five-shot fluted cylinder. The furniture consists of black pebble-textured synthetic grips with the Smith & Wesson logo. Mounted on the integrated top Picatinny rail is a silver-finished Nikon XR scope featuring a BDC long-range hunting reticle and flip-up lens covers. An adjustable folding bipod is attached to the lower rail section. Verbatim markings include the serial number DKS7824 and model designation 460 stamped on the frame under the crane. The left side of the frame is marked PERFORMANCE CENTER with the associated logo, and the right side of the barrel extension is marked 460 S&W MAGNUM. The right side of the frame is further marked MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS. The firearm is presented with a black soft-sided Smith & Wesson Performance Center carrying case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in excellent physical condition, showing a bright stainless steel finish with minimal handling marks and a faint drag line on the cylinder. There is very little carbon residue visible on the cylinder face, suggesting limited firing. The synthetic grips are in like-new condition. The Nikon scope optics appear clear and the bipod mechanism is fully functional. The action appears to function correctly with positive lock-up, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The included soft case shows minimal wear.
