Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of Federal Ammunition .410 gauge shotgun shells, contained within four original 25-round retail boxes. The collection includes two boxes of Federal Game-Shok Hi-Brass Loads featuring 3-inch shells with 11/16 oz. of #7 1/2 lead shot, and two boxes of Federal Hi-Brass Loads featuring 3-inch shells with 11/16 oz. of #4 lead shot. All rounds are specified for a muzzle velocity of 1135 FPS with a maximum dram equivalent powder charge. The ammunition is constructed using red ribbed plastic hulls and high brass-plated steel bases. Verbatim hull markings include FEDERAL, 3 IN. 76mm, and the respective shot size numbers. Box markings identify the product codes as H413 7.5 and H413 4. These loads are designed for upland game and small game hunting.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in excellent, live condition with no evidence of corrosion or oxidation on the brass-colored bases or primers. The red plastic hulls are clean and free from cracks or storage-related degradation. The original cardboard packaging shows moderate shelf wear consistent with age, including edge scuffing, corner dings, and some surface paper loss on the faces of the #4 shot boxes, though the boxes remain intact and the printing remains clearly legible.
