Description
This Smith & Wesson M&P22 CA is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle designed as a rimfire companion to the full-size M&P centerfire series. The firearm features a 4.1-inch barrel housed in a black finish slide, mounted on a black polymer frame with a textured grip and an integrated three-slot accessory rail. It is equipped with a three-dot sight system and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety. Significant markings include M&P 22 CA on the left side of the slide and SMITH & WESSON over SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. on the frame. The right side of the slide repeats the manufacturer and location, while the right side of the frame is marked CARL WALTHER ULM / DO, M&P22 CAL. .22 L.R., and MADE IN GERMANY. The serial number MP097358 is clearly visible on the right side of the frame and matches the included factory box labels. German proof marks, including the DE country code, an eagle over N nitro proof, and the BD date code, are stamped on the chamber. The lot is complete with the original Smith & Wesson branded black plastic hard case, a red cable lock, a Spanish-language warning card, and 2 mags. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in very good to excellent overall condition, displaying minimal signs of handling or use. The black finish on the slide remains consistent with only very faint thinning at the leading edges. The polymer frame is well-preserved with sharp texturing and no significant scratches or dings. While the bore was not inspected internally, the external condition suggests it has been well-maintained. The action appears to function correctly when cycled by hand, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Both magazines and the factory case show minimal wear.
