Description
This Hatsan Model 95 is a break-barrel air rifle chambered in .25 caliber (6.35mm) designed for target shooting and small game hunting. The rifle features a blued steel barrel and receiver mounted in a checkered hardwood stock with a Monte Carlo-style cheekpiece and a ventilated black rubber recoil pad. The receiver is prominently marked with MOD 95 within a circular logo including the Hatsan name and bow and arrow symbol, along with QUATTRO Trigger and SaS SHOCK ABSORBER SYSTEM. Markings on the left side of the barrel block include the serial number 70-G21HT-055708, .25CAL (6.35mm), and MADE IN TURKEY 09/21. The right side is stamped with the importer information: Read owner’s manual before using. HatsanUSA, Inc. Bentonville, AR. The rifle is fitted with a set of fiber-optic open sights, featuring a green rear sight and a red front sight, and it comes equipped with an Optima 3-9×32 variable power scope on standard dovetail mounts. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the barrel and receiver remains largely intact, showing only minor surface wear and light handling marks consistent with normal use. The hardwood stock exhibits more visible signs of use, with numerous scratches, scuffs, and small dings present throughout the forend and buttstock area. The checkering on the grip and forend remains well-defined. The action appears to function correctly, although the rifle has not been function-tested for accuracy or power. The bore was not inspected. The Optima scope optics appear clear with no visible scratches or fogging, and the variable power adjustment ring moves smoothly.
