Description
This is a single DPMS rifle barrel designed for use with AR-10 or LR-308 pattern rifle systems, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. The barrel measures approximately 16 inches in length and features a 1:10-inch rifling twist rate for projectile stabilization. The exterior is finished in a durable matte black Parkerized coating and includes a threaded muzzle for the attachment of various muzzle devices. It features a heavy profile and a dedicated mounting journal for a gas block, which shows some surface residue and wear from previous installation. The rear of the barrel is equipped with a standard AR-10 pattern barrel extension featuring internal locking lugs and a top-mounted indexing pin for proper receiver alignment. Key markings on the side of the barrel specify the manufacturer, caliber, and twist rate, transcribed verbatim as DPMS 7.62×51 1-10. A white inventory label with the handwritten number Z0883 is affixed near the chamber area. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:
The barrel is in good used condition overall. The matte Parkerized finish remains largely intact, showing typical signs of previous use such as light scuffs, minor scratches, and some surface wear. Carbon residue and mounting marks are visible on the gas block seat and muzzle threads, but the threads appear clean and functional. The bore is bright and clean with crisp, well-defined rifling throughout. The internal locking lugs in the barrel extension are in good condition without significant deformation, and the indexing pin is securely seated.
