Description
This Winchester Model 1200 is a pump-action shotgun chambered for 20-gauge, 2 3/4-inch shells, featuring a 28-inch ventilated rib barrel. The barrel is equipped with a single metal front bead sight and utilizes the Winchester screw-in Winchoke system. The steel receiver and barrel exhibit a dark blued finish, complemented by a decorative engine-turned or jeweled finish on the bolt. The furniture consists of a checkered wood buttstock and matching forend. The shotgun is completed with a black rubber recoil pad embossed with the Winchester Repeating Arms logo and a grip cap featuring the Winchester monogram. Verbatim barrel markings include Winchester Model 1200 – 20 Ga. 2 3/4 Cham / Made In New Haven, Conn. U.S.A. Winchester Proof Steel / Winchoke. Proof marks consisting of a W/P within a circle are stamped on the top of both the barrel and receiver. The serial number L804823 is located on the underside of the receiver, while the name Gregory Miller is hand-engraved into the bottom plate of the trigger assembly. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in good overall condition. The blued finish on the receiver and barrel shows minor thinning at high points, light scratches, and small areas of surface wear consistent with moderate field use. The engine-turned finish on the bolt remains distinct with light cycling wear. The wood stock and forend are in good condition, retaining most of their original finish with scattered dings, compression marks, and light scratches. The bore is bright and the action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
