Description
This lot features a collection of 141 items for the .25-20 Winchester caliber, comprised of 36 rounds of 25/20 win made by Peters, 3 empty casings, and 102 additional 25-20 empty brass casings. The collection is organized across three translucent plastic storage cases and includes a variety of manufacturers. Verbatim headstamp markings include PETERS 25-20, R-P .25-20 WIN, W-W .25-20 WIN, and vintage REM-UMC 25-20. The live ammunition includes cartridges configured with jacketed soft-point projectiles featuring exposed lead tips. The assortment represents multiple production eras, showing a range of primer finishes and brass conditions. The items are intended for shooters, reloaders, or collectors of vintage American rimmed cartridges.
Condition report:
The brass cases exhibit varying degrees of age-related tarnish and a natural patina across the different brands. Primers on the live ammunition appear undisturbed, displaying both copper and nickel-plated finishes. The empty brass casings appear to be in good structural condition for reloading but should be individually inspected before use. The three plastic grid boxes are fully functional with minor surface scuffing and no significant cracks. We have not function-tested the live ammunition.
