Description
This collection consists of fifteen vintage Poly-Choke Raised Handgun Rib kits, specifically designed for the Ruger Super Blackhawk with a 10.5-inch barrel. The assortment includes units in two types of original retail packaging: clear hard plastic display cases and soft plastic hang-tag bags. Each unit is prominently labeled with the Poly-Choke brand name and identifies the product as a raised handgun rib. Many packages feature yellow adhesive labels specifying model number 96111 and the application for the Ruger Super Blackhawk 10½. The packaging includes instructional text stating the ribs are intended for self-installation without the need for machining or fitting. Patent numbers 3556889 and 195340 are printed on the labels. Several of the hard plastic cases retain original red price stickers marked $14.95.
Condition report:
The items are in New Old Stock (NOS) condition. The packaging shows varying degrees of age-related wear, with several of the hard plastic cases exhibiting significant yellowing and deterioration of the internal foam padding. The soft plastic bags show minor shelf wear, including light scuffing and creasing. The metal rib components appear unused and in good structural condition within the packaging.
