Description
This lot comprises a collection of 520 spent brass rifle cartridge cases. The casings are caliber .30-06 Springfield and feature headstamps identifying them as products of the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. The markings include the letters LC alongside two-digit numerical year codes such as 86, 96, and 98, indicating their respective years of manufacture. The casings are of a bottlenecked design and have been cleaned for reloading or salvage purposes. These items are once-fired and the spent primers have been removed, leaving the primer pockets empty. The collection is housed in a clear plastic storage container.
Condition report:
The brass casings are in fired condition and show typical signs of use including minor surface scratches, small indentations, and varying degrees of tarnish or oxidation. The items have been cleaned and processed to remove spent primers.
