Description
A Boyds Varmint Thumbhole rifle stock designed for a Remington 700 short action. The stock is constructed from laminated wood in a Zombie Green and black color pattern. It features a thumbhole pistol grip, a high Monte Carlo style comb, and a wide forend channel configured for a bull barrel. The forend includes three longitudinal cooling vents and two sling swivel studs, with a third swivel stud located on the buttstock. The butt is fitted with a black rubber recoil pad. Internal markings in the bedding area include a BOYDS stamp and the date JAN 19 2016, along with handwritten notations BP and 1D. A factory barcode sticker bearing the alphanumeric code 62-U-VT-ZZ is affixed to the interior bedding surface.
Condition report:
The stock is in excellent, unmounted condition. It shows no evidence of previous mounting or field use.
