Description
This lot comprises a total of 104 pieces of 7mm Remington Magnum ammunition and reloading components, consisting of 43 live rounds and 61 empty and primed brass casings. The collection is housed in two blue MTM Case-Gard plastic storage boxes. The live ammunition includes a variety of projectile styles such as soft-point and polymer-tipped spitzer bullets. Prominent headstamps transcribed from the brass include F C, R-P, W-W SUPER, and BROWNING, followed by the 7MM REM MAG caliber designation, representing production by Federal, Remington-Peters, Winchester-Western, and Browning. The majority of the items feature standard brass construction, while several examples of both live rounds and spent casings are nickel-plated. A handwritten label on the interior of one box identifies the contents as 7MM MAG 140 GR SPITZER. Given the mix of commercial brass manufacturers and bullet types, the cartridges appear to be handloaded.
Condition report:
The brass and nickel-plated casings exhibit light surface oxidation and tarnish consistent with age and storage. The 43 live rounds appear to be in stable condition with properly seated projectiles and primers. The 61 primed casings include both spent primers with firing pin indentations and potentially unspent primers, suggesting once-fired brass prepared for reloading. No significant corrosion, splitting, or case mouth damage is visible on the inspected components.
