Description
This Smith & Wesson SD9 VE is a semi-automatic striker-fired pistol chambered in 9mm, designed as a reliable and durable option for personal protection or range use. The firearm features a 4-inch barrel housed within a stainless steel slide, which is paired with a black polymer frame featuring an integrated accessory rail for the attachment of lights or lasers. The frame is designed with textured grip panels on the sides, front, and backstrap to ensure a secure hold during operation. The pistol is equipped with fixed three-dot sights and a loaded chamber indicator for added safety. Prominent markings include the model designation SMITH & WESSON SD9 VE and the manufacturer logo on the left side of the slide, while the right side of the slide is engraved SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. The top of the barrel hood is stamped – 9 MM – and the loaded chamber indicator bears the text LOADED WHEN UP. The serial number FCX5091 is found on a label located on the underside of the frame, which corresponds to the labeling on the included original blue factory box. This lot includes the pistol, two stainless steel magazines, the original safety and instruction manual, an orange chamber flag, and a Lockdown 15-inch cable lock in its original packaging. Condition report:
The pistol is in excellent overall condition, appearing to have seen very little use. The stainless steel slide and black polymer frame show virtually no wear, scratches, or handling marks. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly with smooth travel and positive reset. All accessories, including the two magazines and the factory box, are in excellent condition, though the box shows minor shelf wear at the corners.
