Description
This Ruger Mark IV is a break-barrel air pistol chambered for .177 caliber (4.5 mm) pellets, designed for target shooting and manufactured by Umarex. It features a rifled barrel, a one-stroke cocking mechanism, and an adjustable rear sight paired with a fiber optic front sight. The pistol is constructed with a black synthetic frame and polymer grips, mirroring the aesthetics of the iconic Ruger Mark IV rimfire pistol. Key markings include the model designation Mark IV Air Pistol and the Ruger logo on the frame and packaging. The left side of the barrel is marked with the serial number D24L011416, the caliber cal. 4,5 mm (.177), and a German F in a pentagon proof mark. Additional markings on the frame state Manufactured by Umarex under license from Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. and MADE IN TAIWAN. The packaging indicates a muzzle velocity of 320 FPS (97.5 m/s). Note – As an air pistol, this item does not require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The air pistol is in new condition, presented in its original retail blister packaging. The black finish on the barrel and frame appears factory-fresh with no visible handling marks or wear. The synthetic grips are pristine. Sights are intact and clear. The action has not been function tested as the item remains sealed in its factory packaging. The retail card and blister show minor shelf wear and some adhesive residue from a previous price tag on the front.
