Description
This lot comprises a collection of 103 pieces of .32-20 Winchester caliber primed ammunition casings intended for reloading. The collection is divided between 52 brass-finished casings and 51 nickel-plated casings, all featuring seated primers. The brass casings are primarily organized within a green MTM Case-Gard 50-round flip-top plastic storage box, with four additional loose casings including one that is severely damaged with a crushed mouth. The nickel-plated casings are housed in a blue Midway 50-round flip-top plastic storage box with one loose casing resting on top. Verbatim headstamp markings visible across the collection include REM-UMC 32-20, W-W 32-20 WIN, PETERS 32-20, R-P 32-20 WIN, WESTERN 32-20, and W.R.A.CO. 32 W.C.F. These components represent a variety of manufacturers and periods, suitable for shooters of vintage firearms chambered in .32-20 WCF.
Condition report:
The ammunition casings appear to be fired components that have been cleaned and re-primed for handloading. The metal surfaces exhibit varying degrees of age-related tarnish, light oxidation, and superficial scratches consistent with previous use and storage. The nickel plating on several cases shows minor dulling. One brass casing in the green box is heavily crushed and is considered unusable. The primers appear to be live and properly seated. The plastic storage boxes show light wear and typical shelf scuffing, with the blue box bearing a handwritten notation of 32/20 PRIMED on the lid.
