Description
This lot consists of 25 Remington Nitro Gold Sporting Clays 12 gauge target shotshells. The ammunition is housed in a blue plastic flip-top storage box featuring handmade dividers constructed from foam and patterned cardboard. Each cartridge features a gold plastic hull and a brass-colored head. Verbatim markings on the hulls include NITRO GOLD, Sporting Clays, and 1300 – 1 1/8 – 8, indicating a 1 1/8-ounce payload of size 8 shot with a muzzle velocity of 1300 feet per second. The storage case lid bears handwritten notations in blue marker, including 1300-1 1/8-8 and Shot load 8, alongside an obscured reference to .410 3 inch #4 ammunition, suggesting the container may have been repurposed or intended for a 410 ga shotshell 25 rounds set.
