Description
This Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield is a compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, designed for concealed carry applications. It features a 3.125-inch barrel housed within a stainless steel slide with a matte black finish, mounted on a black polymer frame featuring integrated textured grip panels. The slide is equipped with a tactile and visual loaded chamber indicator marked LOADED WHEN UP and the barrel hood is stamped 9MM. This firearm has been upgraded with aftermarket fiber optic sights, including a green fiber optic front sight and a red two-dot fiber optic rear sight. Key markings include M&P 9 SHIELD and the manufacturer’s logo on the left side of the slide, and SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. on the right. The serial number JRR9182 is clearly displayed on a metal insert on the right side of the frame. This lot includes the original factory box with a matching serial number label, a safety and instruction manual, a Lockdown brand cable lock, an orange chamber safety flag, and two magazines consisting of one 7-round flush-fit and one 8-round extended stainless steel magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good used condition. The matte black finish on the slide shows light wear along the edges consistent with holster use and some minor surface scuffs. The polymer frame is well-maintained with crisp texturing and no significant dings. The aftermarket rear sight base shows visible surface oxidation. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though it has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The included magazines and factory accessories show minimal wear.
