Description
This lot features a total of 150 rounds of 7.62x25mm Tokarev handgun ammunition manufactured by Sellier and Bellot. The collection is comprised of three 50-round boxes, including one earlier production green and red box and two contemporary silver and green boxes. Each cartridge is loaded with an 85-grain (5.50 gram) full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile seated in a bottlenecked brass case. The ammunition utilizes 4.4mm Boxer primers, specifically labeled as Neroxin non-corrosive and non-erosive, with a distinctive red lacquer sealant applied to the primer pockets for moisture resistance. Prominent markings on the packaging include the Sellier and Bellot manufacturer logo, the caliber designation 7,62 x 25 TOKAREV, bullet type FMJ, and weight specifications of 5,50 g and 85 grs. The cartridge headstamps are clearly marked with S and B on the upper arc and 7,62×25 on the lower arc.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in excellent, well-preserved condition, showing bright brass cases free from significant oxidation or corrosion. The cardboard packaging shows moderate shelf wear consistent with age and storage, including light scuffing, minor edge fraying, and softened corners, though the structural integrity of the boxes remains sound.
