Description
This lot comprises three standard-issue United States military ammunition storage containers, specifically two M19A1 models and one M2A1 model. Often categorized as 30 caliber and 50 caliber size cans respectively, these containers are constructed of carbon steel with an olive drab paint finish. The rear of the bodies feature embossed markings identifying the models as M19A1 and M2A1, along with the manufacturer initials S.C.F. and production year indicators 13 and 14. One container retains its original yellow stenciled markings indicating it previously held 200 cartridges of 7.62 mm ball M80A1 ammunition in M13 links, with a lot number starting with WMA15. Each container is designed with a top-mounted folding handle, a side-clamping latch mechanism, and a hinged lid containing a rubber gasket for moisture-resistant storage. Paper inventory tags are attached to the handles with white string.
