Description
This Springfield Armory Ronin Operator is a semi-automatic 1911-style pistol chambered in .45 AUTO. It features a 5-inch stainless steel barrel with a barrel hood stamped S.A. .45AUTO. The firearm is constructed with a distinctive two-tone finish, featuring a blued forged carbon steel slide and a forged stainless steel frame. The furniture consists of checkered wood grip panels bearing the Springfield Armory crossed-cannons logo, a skeletonized hammer, and a skeletonized trigger. The pistol is equipped with a fiber optic front sight and a two-dot tactical rack rear sight. Prominent markings include the model designation RONIN OPERATOR on the left side of the slide and SPRINGFIELD ARMORY with the crossed-cannons logo on the right side of the slide. The frame is marked SI GENESEO IL USA and bears the serial number NM 662354 on the right side. The lot is accompanied by its original factory box, manual, a red cable lock, spare fiber optic filaments, and two 8-round magazines, one of which is manufactured by Mec-Gar. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in very good condition, showing only minor surface wear and light handling marks. The blued finish on the slide remains largely intact with some very light scratches and faint wear at the muzzle. The stainless steel frame is clean with a few minor scuffs. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The checkered wood grips are in excellent condition with no significant chips or dings.
