Description
This is a sporterized military bolt-action rifle built on a Polish Model K98 Mauser-style action chambered in 7.92mm. The rifle features a tapered blued barrel with a ramped front sight and a Williams-brand aperture peep sight mounted to the rear right of the receiver. The metal components exhibit a blued finish that shows significant thinning, surface oxidation, and patches of bare metal. The action is housed in a modified or aftermarket wood sporter-style stock with a high-gloss finish, featuring a Monte Carlo-style comb and a heavily corroded metal buttplate. A brown canvas sling is attached to the swivel studs. Key markings include the receiver ring which features a stamped Polish eagle crest above the manufacturer name and date F.B. RADOM 1932. The left side of the receiver is marked with the caliber 7.92mm and the serial number EA33934. The barrel is marked with the number 1232. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The original blued finish shows significant wear and thinning throughout the barrel and receiver, with scattered patches of surface oxidation and bare metal. The metal buttplate is heavily corroded and pitted. The bore has not been inspected. The bolt action appears to function correctly, though it has not been live-fire tested. The wood stock retains much of its high-gloss finish but shows numerous scratches, dings, and surface abrasions consistent with field use. The Williams rear sight appears functional and intact.
